Every day, he watches the workers and tries to copy what they do.
When they fill the dump truck with earth, Nosson goes home and fills his toy box to the top.
When the workers help each other, Nosson helps his friends. When the workers wait for cement to dry, Nosson practices being patient and waiting for his turn.

About the Artist:
Renate Lohmann has illustrated several picture books for the classroom, a book on medieval history, and NOVA’s “Secrets of Lost Empires” for the PBS station WGBH Boston. She has two daughters and lives in Berkeley, California.
